The Birds of Chester Bird

The American Legion baseball team of Chester Bird American Legion Post 523, composed of players from the Benilde-St. Margaret's School, is known as The Birds of Chester Bird.

This page is not being used for the 2013 season. However, schedules, results and other items related to the Jim Hanus Gopher Classic, July 12-14, at BSM Field will be posted here.

Key SHL game postponed by rain

Friday's rainstorm has caused Chester Bird's South Hennepin League game at Edina to be postponed to Saturday night.

The two teams were slated, as a makeup from an earlier rainout, to meet in the fourth of four quarterfinal games of the Edina Invitational at 8 p.m. at Braemar Park.

The teams will now meet Saturday at 8 p.m. at Braemar.
